To find the lowest term of a fraction, all you have to do is divide the numerator and denominator by their greatest common factor in which in this case is 3. So divide 9 and 15 by 3 and you will get your answer: 3/5.

You can divide the numerator and denominator each by 3.

5 can simplify 15, but it can't 9.

9 / 3 = 3

15 / 3 = 5

9/15 simplified is 3/5.
