1. Powers with the same base. The exponent product rule says that you could add the exponents when multiplying two powers with the same base. key:
ADDITION
2. Dividing powers with the same base. You just have to subtract the exponents.

SUBTRACTION
3. Raising a power to a power. First you raise the expression inside the parentheses with their corresponding powers then you multiply two expressions together.
key: MULTIPLICATION and ADDITION of exponents
