just multiply the cost ( $25 per share) by 1.5

$25 x 1.5 = $37.50

Answer:

$37.50

Explanation:

Carl bought some stock at = $25.00 per share.

The stock increased to
1(1)/(2) times its value.

1(1)/(2) times or
(3)/(2) times = 1.5 times

So we will multiply the value with 1.5 times

Now the value of stock per share = 25.00 × 1.5

= $37.50

The new value of the stock per share is $37.50
