If each serving equals 1/2 of one sandwich then we can say there are 8 servings because there are two servings per sandwich ans 4*2=8.
If he serves each friend one serving then there will be one serving leftover because 8-7=1.

Yes he has enough because 4 divided by 1/2 is 8 servings
