Okay so divide the area by the width this will give you the length, 5.8/2.25=2.5777778 which is roughly 2 3/5

Answer:

2(26)/(45)\text{ meters}

Explanation:

Since the area of a rectangle is,

A=l* b

Where,

l = length,

b = width,

Here, A =
5(4)/(5)\text{ square meters}

b =
2(1)/(4)\text{ meters}

By substituting the values,

5(4)/(5)=l* 2(1)/(4)

(29)/(5)=l* (9)/(4)

\implies (29* 4)/(9* 5)=(116)/(45) = 2(26)/(45)\text{ meters}

Hence, the length would be
2(26)/(45)\text{ meters}
