Answer:

A port is a stretch of water on the sea shore or on the shore of a river or lake deep enough to harbor vessels or allow access to land. Natural ports are those installed in naturally sheltered places. Because they are protected by bays or inlets, the natural ports have calm waters. Obviously this resource is very well used for the mooring of boats and ships, trade of goods, with the personnel and services necessary for loading and unloading cargo and stocks.
