In math, skip counting can be defined as the method of counting forward by numbers other than 1. To skip count, we keep adding the same number each time to the previous numbers.

For example, skip-counting by 2s will give us: 0,2,4,6,8,10 and so on.

Similarly. in a pharmacy most times, skip-counting is applied as pills are counted in groups

of 2s,3s,4s, and so on as the case may be.
