You are starting your first job as a salesperson at a clothing store. You receive a base salary of $10.00 per hour with time-and-a half for hours in excess of 40 hours per week. You also receive a 3% commission on your total sales.Calculate your paycheck if you work 40 hours both weeks, plus you sell $3,000 worth of merchandise.

.

We were given,

Hourly pay = $10.00

Commision = 3%

Total sals = $3,000

Total time = 40 hours for two weeks = 80hours

\begin{gathered} Commission=(3)/(100)*3,000 \\ Commission=90 \end{gathered}

Total commission = $90

Also;

\begin{gathered} Amout\text{ }paid=80*10 \\ Amount\text{ }paid=800 \end{gathered}

Amount recieved for from working = $800

Paycheck = $90 + $800

Paycheck = $890

Therefore, The paycheck recieved after two weeks = $890
