To solve this problem we first need to convert the mixed fractions to improper ones. To do that we need to add the integer part to the fractional part. This is done below:

\begin{gathered} orange=1(3)/(4)=(4)/(4)+(3)/(4)=(7)/(4) \\ lemon=2(1)/(3)=(6)/(3)+(1)/(3)=(7)/(3) \end{gathered}

Now we need to subtract the lemon zests by the orange ones. For that we will have to change the denominator of the fraction, by using LMC.

(7)/(3)-(7)/(4)=(4\cdot7-3\cdot7)/(12)=(28-21)/(12)=(7)/(12)

There are 7/12 tablespoons more zest on the lemon muffins.
