10%

1) Since the bonus for the salesman is equivalent to 6.5% then we can write out the following, using a hypothetical sale of $10,000

10000\cdot0.065=650

2) Now considering that there was a discount of 10%, then we can write the following:

\begin{gathered} 10000\cdot(0.9)=9000 \\ 9000\cdot0.065=585 \end{gathered}

3) Now, let's turn the loss of that salesman into a percentage

\begin{gathered} 100\%-----650 \\ x-------585 \\ 650x=58500 \\ (650x)/(650)=(58500)/(650) \\ x=90\% \\ 100\%-90\%=10\% \end{gathered}

Thus, that salesperson will lose 10% as well, on his/her commission.
