What were some common Chicano culture stereotypes that existed during this time frame(late 60s early 70s)? What were Mexican-Americans “doing” during this time (working, political involvements, etc)?

Chicano is also a term for Mexican Americans that came from Mexico and went to Chicago. Most Chicanos worked as low-skilled laborers. The Chicano Movement peaked during late 1960s and early 1970s. Corky Gonzales, Cesar Chavez and Jose Angel Gutierrez were the key people of this movement.
