The Alliance for Progress was a political project run by the United States government during the presidency of John F. Kennedy. The objective was to integrate the countries of America in the political, economic, social and cultural aspects of the Soviet threat, seen as a communist regime in the continent.
The Alliance for Progress established economic cooperation. About 80 billion dollars to be invested in the other countries of America.
