Answer:

She can make 14 apple pies.

Explanation:

A baker wants to put
3(3)/(4) pounds or
(15)/(4) pounds of apples in each pie she makes.

She purchased
52(1)/(2) pounds or
(105)/(4) pounds of apples.

Let she can make x number of apple pies.

So the apples she can put =
(15)/(4)* x pounds

Now the equation to get the value of x will be

(15)/(4)* x =
(105)/(2)

x =
(105)/(2)* (4)/(15)

x =
(420)/(30)

= 14

Therefore, she can make 14 apple pies.
