A truck rental agency $49 per day plus 20 cents per mile to rent a certain truck. Another agency charges $29 per day plus 25 cents per mile to rent the same truck. How many miles per day will have to be driven for the cost of a truck from the first agency to equal the cost of a truck from the second agency?

I'm not sure but according to me, it seems as if the second agency requires less money depending on how far you have to travel. because 49 and 29 has 20 dollars apart, while there is only 5 cents different per mile, so if you want to buy it, buy the 2 agency. Sorry this doesn't answer your questions ;(

49 + 0.20m = 29 + 0.25m
49 - 29 = 0.25m - 0.20m
20 = 0.05m
20 / 0.05 = m
400 = m .... 400 miles per day would have to be driven
