We will use the ratio method to solve the question

Since the ratio between the time in the 1st week to the second week is

6: 13

Since the total time of the 2 weeks is 152 minutes, then

Find the total of the ratio

Week1: Week2: Week1 + Week2

6 : 13 : 19

m : n : 152

By using the cross multiplication

m x 19 = 6 x 152

19m = 912

Divide both sides by 19

m = 48 min

n x 19 = 13 x 152

19n = 1976

Divide both sides by 19

n = 104 min

He walked for 48 min in the 1st week

He walked for 104 min in the 2nd week
