How is a dental history and physical different from a medical history and physical done by an M.D.?

Answer:

A dental history and physical will only show problems with the mouth, teeth, and problems in those areas. A medical history will show everything wrong with a person. A doctor doing a medical hsitory will check vitals, perform EKGs, and other tests. A dentist will not do those things. A dentist will give an x-ray of the mouth and also look for cavities and other things wrong with the persons mouth and teeth.
