The answer is 2 2/6
Explain: the whole numbers 4-2 equals 2 and you need to make a fraction with the same denominator to subtract so 1/2 would then equal 3/6 so you take 5/6 - 3/6 which equals 2/6 then you add your whole number which altogether would make 2 2/6
