move all terms that don't contain x to the right side and solve.
x = -7y/10 + 718/5

To solve for x do the following steps.

Step 1. Subtract
7y from both sides

10x=1435-7y

Step 2. Divide both sides by
10

x=(1435-7y)/(10)

Step 3. Factor out the common term
7

x= (7(205-y))/(10)

Now lets solve for y. Follow the steps below.

Step 1. Subtract
10x from both sides.

7y=1435-10x

Step 2. Divide both sides by 7.

y= (1435-10x)/(7)

Step 3. Factor out the common term 5.

y= (5(287-2x))/(7)

Done! :)
