Substitute the x for 14
30+12(14)
Multiply 12 by 14
30+168
Add
Final Answer: 198

This lets you know that she would be able to buy the camera in 14 weeks.

30 + 12w = 198
12w = 198 - 30
12W = 168
W = 168/12
W = 14 <== it's gonna take 14 weeks
