What is f(4) if f(x) = |3x + 4| - 2

You simply plug 4 in wherever you find x.
Meaning the absolute value of 3 times 4 plus 4 all subtracted by two.

f(4)= |3*4 +4| -2
f(4)= |12+4| -2
f(4)= |16| -2
f(4)= 14
