This is
true.
There are even people who take you around it and talk about 9/11 for as little as 10 dollars. There are even tours where the person who is your guide was affected in some way by the events.

This is true. There are small businesses around Ground Zero which did indeed profit a lot from the tourists wanting to see the site. There are also, however, business which have been failing due to the bad name this area has in some peoples minds.
