A. because jubilant means expressing great happiness but melancholy means very sad. I'm guessing were dealing with opposites here.

Answer:

A) Melancholy

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question, we learn that we have to think of words as analogies. The first section of the analogy includes the words "conceited" and "humble." A conceited person is one who is arrogant, or who thinks too much of him or herself. On the other hand, a humble person is the opposite. This suggests that the second section of the analogy should also have an opposite relationship. The word that has the opposite meaning to "jubilant" is "melancholy."
