point slope form
y-y₁=m(x-x₁)

where m=slope and a given point is (x₁,y₁)

given oint is (3,0)
sloe is -2

y-0=-2(x-3)
y=-2(x-3)

y = mx + b
slope(m) = -2
(3,0)...x = 3 and y = 0
now we sub and find b, the y int
0 = -2(3) + b
0 = -6 + b
6 = b

so ur equation is : y = -2x + 6 or 2x + y = 6
