Answer:

m= 3/2

Explanation:

GIVEN :

x - 2 , 4 ,6,8

y - 7,10, 13 ,16

Solution : Since we are given that function is linear that means equation formed with these points will be an equation of line .

Using the formula of slope of line

m = (y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1) )

m = (10-7 )/(4-2 )

m = (3 )/(2) }

Thus, The slope represented by this table of values for a linear function is 3/2.

You can use this formula:
m = ( y 2 - y 1 ) / ( x 2 - x 1 )
m = ( 10 - 7 ) / ( 4 - 2 ) = 3 / 2
Linear function: y = m x + b
The slope is 3/2.
