Number 1 is false. Often the mainstream media is biased due to the fact that it is being financed by people who finance political parties or similar. The second is is true because one has to critically approach the articles and news reported to understand whether it's good or not. The correct answer for A should be A. the presence of clear-cut rules for reporting and consequences for not following them because it often caters to the needs of the masses and needs to be clear-cut.
