Hello,

1) if 5x-1>0 then |5x-1|=5x-1
==> |5x-1|<1==>5x-1<1==>5x<2==>x<2/5

2) if 5x-1<0 then |5x-1|=-5x+1
==>|5x-1|<1==>-5x+1<1==>-5x<0==>x>0

0<x<2/5
