x+(2)/(3)+2=(3)/(2)\ \ \ \ | multiply\ by\ 6\\\\ 6x+4+12=9\\\\ 6x+16=9\ \ \ | subtract\ 16\\\\ 6x=-7\ \ \ | divide\ by\ 6\\\\ x=-(7)/(6)=-1(1)/(6)

so x+2/3+2=3/2
2/3=4/6
3/2=9/6
so subtract 2 from both sides
x+4/6=9/6-2
subtract 4/6 from both sides
x=9/6-4/6-2
add like terms
x=5/6-2
2=12/6
x=5/6-12/6
x=-7/6 or -1 1/6
