A carpenter has a board that is 10 feet long. He wants to make 6 table legs that are all the same length. What is the longest each leg can be?

length\ of\ leg=(10feet)/(6)=1(2)/(3)feet\\\\ Each\ leg\ can\ be \ 1(2)/(3)feet\ long.

if you divide 10 by 6 you get 1.6 repeatedly so if you turn it into a fraction which is 1 and 2/3
