1)We evaluate the function: y=(3/4)^x

if x=-1; ⇒y=(3/4)⁻¹=1/(3/4)¹=4/3
if x=0; ⇒y=(3/4)°=1 (remember; x°=1)
if x=1; ⇒y=(3/4)¹=3/4
if x=2; ⇒y=(3/4)²=3²/4²=9/16

we can see that; 4/3>1>3/4>9/16;
therefore : the function is decreasing.
