Answer: b). false

Seafloor and continental land cannot be of similar age because both undergo changes with respect to time and the changes occurring in them are not dependent on each other. Seafloor is a land at the bottom of the sea. It is never exposed to atmospheric air. Continental land is the land near the water body like sea. This remains exposed to air and water. Continental land exhibit terrestrial plants and animals but also exhibit amphibian plants and animals that live in both water and land. Seafloor exhibit aquatic plants and animals. When the life form dies this results in organic matter formation due to decomposition. The one which exhibit more such deposition and layering of sediments will be more older in age than the other one. Therefore, age cannot remain the same it will vary.
