The main goal of the AAM was to stop the racism against the people of Asian ancestry in the United States.

The Asian American Movement, or AAM, was a movment that was the most active during the 1960's and the 1970's. The movement was able to attract people from multiple different Asian ethnic groups in the United States, and together to fight for their basic human rights. The basic goal of AAM was to stop the racism against the people with Asian ancestry that live in the United States. AAM alos was protesting and fighting against the US neo-imperialism, demanded changes in the colleges and universities, organized workers, and also changes in the social system to help the ones in need.
