Rule 2: Next perform all multiplications and divisions, working from left to right. Rule 3: Lastly, perform all additions and subtractions, working from left to right.| (4+9+16/4) -8 -3 x 5 1. 16/4 = 4 2. 4+9+4 = 17 keep parenthesis around 17 3. (17) - 8 - 3 x 5 4. -3 x 5 = -15 5. (17) - 8 - 15 6. -8 - 15= -23 7. (17) - 23 8. -391 (final answer)
