Step 2: Gather like terms

4 * 7 x^(2) x y^(3) y

Step 3: Use Product Rule
x^(a) x^{b= x^(a+b) }


4* 7 x^(2+1) y^(3+1)

Step 4:
Simplify 2+1 to 3


4*7 x^(3) y^(3+1)

Step 5: Simplify 3 + 1 to 4

4*7 x^(3) y^(4)

Step 6: Simplify


28 x^(3) y^(4)
