the area of the triangle must be determined. then multiply the area of the triangle by 4lb/1ft2
the equation for the area of a triangle is A = b times h/2
the base equals 5.5 feet and the height is 3 feet.
A = (5.5fttimes 3ft) /2=8.25ft2
4lb mulch is needed for each square feet

8.25ft2 times 4lbmulch/1ft2 = 33lb mulch
