In a pluralistic society, special interest groups have a right to

testify in court on behalf of immigrants

-meet with Congressional leaders to ask for the protection of religious minorities

-get a Senator to introduce legislation to ensure healthcare for Hispanic children

A pluralistic society is the one which has different groups which have different beliefs and views but that they tolerate even thought they don't share them.
