Let's find g(b) - f(b).

[-(\text{b\rparen + 4\rbrack - \lbrack\lparen b\rparen^^b2 + 2\rbrack}
\text{ \lparen-b + 4\rparen - \lparen b^^b2 + 2\rparen}
\text{ -b + 4 - b^^b2 - 2}
\text{ -b^^b2 - b + 2}

Therefore, g(b) - f(b) = -b² - b + 2
