According to an article I read, the longest unbroken period of drought that Jamestown suffered was from 1606 to 1612.

From 1609 to 1610, people in Jamestown experienced starvation brought about by the drought. Crops and animals died. People had to resort to killing their dogs and feed off from animal corpses to feed themselves.
