because an equivalent decimal names the same amount as another decimal. the 0 has no value

Answer:

Two numbers are said to be equivalent or equal if after altering the number in any way possible the two numbers are same.

Here in Number ,1.---7.630 and 2.-- 7.63 ,in 7.630, 0 have been removed to obtain 7.63 which does not affect the numerical value of both the numbers.Also,


1.\rightarrow7.630=(7630)/(1000)\\\\=(763)/(100)\\\\=7.63\\\\=\text{Number 2}

So, With Conformity we can say that these two numbers are equivalent.
