There are 4 blue marbles
There are 2 black marbles
There are 3 red marbles
There are a total of 9 marbles
You minus the black marbles from the total
9-2=7
If there are 7 non black marbles then the ratio is 7:9
7:9 is the probability that you won't get a black marble
