If you would like to solve -7x = (-3/4)x - 5 for x, you can do this using the following steps:
-7x = (-3/4)x - 5
5 = (
-3/4)x + 7x /*4
20 = -3x + 28x
20 = 25x /25
x = 20/25
x = 4/5
The correct result would be 4/5.
