The Iroquois symbolizes turtles, tree symbol that alludes to the Great Tree of Peace, the eagle and a cluster of arrows. The turtle symbol is that out of the Sky World fell a Sky Woman who landed on a turtle's back while the eagle was used as a symbol for the Iroquois Confederacy since the Iroquois believed the eagle to be sacred.

The Tree of the Great Peace is a symbol of unity among the Iroquois. It unites the five nations together. This stopped them from fighting. Thank you for posting your question. I hope this answer helped you. Let me know if you need more help.
