Let the width be W and the length be 5 + 2W
Perimeter = 2(length + width)
88 = 2(W + 5 + 2W) = 2(3W + 5) = 6W + 10
6W = 88 - 10 = 78
W = 78/6 = 13
L = 5 + 2(13) = 5 + 26 = 31
Therefore, length = 31 cm, width = 13 cm
