polar molecule has diff charges positive nd negative but the non polar molecule does not it has an equal charge.
!!AND!!

A non-polar molecule doesn't have anything in the molecule that cause it to be attracted to water or other polar molecules making it hydrophobic, like oil in water.
A polar molecule has groups on it that give it a charge and cause it to be attracted to other polar molecules. Like alcohol in water. Alcohol is polar due to the -OH group attached to it causing it to miscible in water.
