PEMDAS, Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction. First you take care of the 9+69=78. Then you add everything else in order.... 34000+78+500=34578

So, first you get rid of the equation between the brackets. 9+69=78
34000 + 78 + 500
