.25x=2.00. find x you would divide 2.00 by .25. 2.00÷.25=8. To check change out the x with 8. .25×8=2.00. ANSWER x=8

x = 8 pieces of candy. 1 dollar is made up of 4, 25 cents. two dollars is 8, 25 cents.
