Which sentence best corrects the misplaced modifier? Washing his car, a cat watched Mr. Ruiz. A. A cat, washing his car, watched Mr. Ruiz. B. A cat washing his car watched Mr. Ruiz. C. A cat watched Mr. Ruiz washing his car.

It would be C because it's the most realistic sentence. In A and B the cat is washing the car, which isn't possible. But, in C Mr. Ruiz is washing the car, and that's realistic.
