The simplest form is 3/4, 36/48 are able to be divided by 12.
3x12=36
4x12=48

Well you can simplify them by dividing by there greatest common factor.
In this case they can both divide by 12!
Thats the biggest number they can divide by...
Soo..
36 ÷ 12 = 3
----------------
48 ÷ 12 = 4
So your answer is 3/4!
