To solve for x:

On simplification we get,

$\begin{gathered} 0.9x-1.3=0.5 \\ 0.9x=0.5+1.3 \\ 0.9x=1.8 \\ x=(1.8)/(0.9) \\ x=(18)/(9) \\ x=2 \end{gathered}$

Hence, the value of x is 2.
