To factor quadratic expression:

15x^2-29x+12

First, let's divide the expression in two different expressions that can be factored apart:

(15x^2-9x)+(-20x+12)

We converted -29x into -9x and -20x, then factor each parenthesis:

3x(5x-3)-4(5x-3)

We factor the common term (5x-3). Then we get as a result:

=(5x-3)(3x-4)
15x^2-29x+12=(5x-3)(3x-4)
