I'm assuming you mean 10 students altogether...
12 / 4 = 3
$3 are spent by each student.
10 students would spend $30 on the same lunch if each spends $3.

You would do 12÷4 to find out how much each person would spend which would be $3.00 each so do 3x10 which is 30 so... 10 students would have spent $30.00 on The same school lunch.
